Art is problem solving: an artist has to figure out how to convey an idea, how to mix the perfect color, how to make a certain kind of mark, and so much more. But an artist is also a curious person, a creative thinker, and an explorer. The magic happens at the intersection of problem solving and play, and your voice emerges as you discover your own unique set of problems and solution
In this class, Jinjer will guide you through a few common (and also a few idiosyncratic) problems in watercolor, approaching them with a sense of adventure. Participants are then invited to map out their own exploration!
Bring any questions or problems you’ve been grappling with, or choose from a selection of watercolor challenges.
We’ll be exploring with Holbein Watercolor, Designers Gouache, Acrylic Gouache and Mediums.
