Fall Flowers: Drawing +Painting Botanicals taught by Jinjer Markley
August 22 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Capture some of the color of the warm season before it fades by painting flowers from life! Surround yourself with beauty, good company, a seasonal beverage and art supplies, as Jinjer teaches you pencil, watercolor and gouache techniques for drawing and painting botanicals.
Jinjer will provide a limited color range of watercolors & gouache, but feel free to bring your own to add to the mix!

Materials to bring:
* We will have a selection of late summer flowers and greenery, but feel free to add to our collection!
* Several sheets of hot press watercolor paper, 8″ x 10″ or larger, in loose sheets, a pad or a block.
* A sketchbook or scratch paper for warm-up sketches (or use scratch paper from the classroom)
* Two sizes of round brush–small (size 2, 3 or 4) and large ( size 6, 8 or 10).
* If you have a hairdryer, let us know if you can bring it to share.
All class materials are available for purchase from our store Wet Paint Artists’ Materials. We are open 10-6pm daily at 1684 Grand Avenue in St. Paul, MN or online at www.wetpaintart.com.

Classes have a limited space available and some fill quickly. Decisions about whether to cancel a class or add another session are typically made one week prior to the start of a class. If a class you are interested in is full we will have a waiting list and will contact you if a space opens up. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment (fewer than 4 registrations) all registrations will be promptly refunded.
Ticket Instruction: You must choose a quantity to activate “get tickets”. To pay for a class registration with a Wet Paint gift card, please call 651-698-6431
