Watercolor Sketching: Urban Landscapes- Travel Impressions taught by Cris Godoy

Meets 4 Wednesdays via Zoom August 2-23 6-8pm CTVIRTUAL CLASS
This workshop is designed to encourage participants to express themselves, taking inspiration from urban landscapes, registering impressions in travel journals. Through painting demonstrations participants will learn how to use watercolor from drawing sketch to a finished watercolor painting. This is not a paint by number class, and not a drawing class, each participant is encourage to express their own “style”, bringing home a unique painting and watercolor painting skills that will last a lifetime.
Any level experience in watercolor or drawing are welcome.
Materials list: Specific list of materials will be sent to registrants. Expect to bring a few basic tubes/pans of watercolor, 2 watercolor brushes, watercolor sketchbook(such as Hahnemuhle Watercolour Book), a few simple drawing supplies.
