Cat Drawing Using Pastels taught by Jana Komaritsa

This class is for all cat lovers! Animal portraitist Jana Komaritsa will be your guide as you discover different ways of pastel drawing of cats. We will study the anatomy of cats and learn how to create a quick sketch as well as more detailed drawing. Please prepare the photos of cats you would like to work from. The instructor will work from a reference image used in class description, among others.
Absolutely no experience required!
Guidance about the photos: It can be any cat photo, either a portrait, or full body. Several photos can be used, as we might create several sketches in class. It is better to have both the portrait and full body available, so that we can practice both. The photo should be clear, not blurry.
Materials for pastel drawing
A basic set of soft pastels (not oil pastels). Sticks or pencils.
Pastel paper (can be colored) / sketchpad
Blending stump or tortillon (not required)
