IN PERSON CLASS

Students will continue to develop their skills and sensitivity in the application of watercolor and soft pastel in a mixed media exploration, building from the prior two course levels offered at Wet Paint.  Individuals with good experience in either of the two media individually are welcome to consider taking the class.  You will start with still life as a point of departure and use that as the basis to explore the expressive potential of this mixed media approach.  While you will have a subject in front of you, it is your interpretation of it that creates meaning, whether your work is more abstract or representational.  Engaging in exploration such as this within a group context encourages openness to different ways of seeing and interpretations that can be very inspirational.  Each class will start with a brief lecture, demonstration and/or discussion of materials to be used.  I look forward to seeing you!

Classes have a limited space available and some fill quickly. Decisions about whether to cancel a class or add another session are typically made one week prior to the start of a class. If a class you are interested in is full we will have a waiting list and will contact you if a space opens up. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment (fewer than 4 registrations) all registrations will be promptly refunded.
