Learn the art of watercolor painting in combination with ink pen, by creating a stunning landscape scene. In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll explore the fundamental principles of composition and perspective, experiment with various watercolor techniques, color mixing and application. No prior experience is necessary. We’ll work on painting the image showcased in the class description, but you are welcome to choose a similar image.

Material list for Watercolor painting
- Watercolor Paints (At least a basic set of colors)
- Standard set of brushes suitable for watercolor (synthetic and/or natural) (pointed round (4-10), flat or bright or filbert (8-12 or larger), detail round (1-2)
- Black Pen, any type such as Pigma Microns, brush tip, dip nib and bottled ink, or fountain pen style. Waterproof ink is best if you don’t want the ink to bleed in the watercolor, but water soluble inks can be used on top of dry watercolor or if you like a bleeding effect.
- Watercolor Paper
- Smooth, sturdy surface to place paper on (if needed)
- Palette (plastic or paper)
- Water Cup
- Paper towel or cloth
- Masking Tape (to tape the paper to the surface if needed)
