HYBRID CLASS- Choose In Person or Virtual Ticket
If you are struggling to create a painting that glows, pops, feels real, or has dimension, you probably need to meet the Queen. Or maybe you are struggling with planning your paintings: yep, the Queen can help you. The Queen of all colors: Black! We will use the 6 different glorious blacks in the Daniel Smith Queen of All Colors Black watercolor set, to learn about unique and useful properties of different watercolor paints–when they are useful, and when you should reach for a different tube. In this project-based class, we will paint spooky subjects perfect for the upcoming holiday while practicing different approaches to painting, including tonal underpainting, wet-in wet and “milk with tea and honey.”
