Sparking Creativity in Kids: Book Arts for Parents + Grandparents + Caregivers taught by Ellen Ferrari

Enrich and enliven time with kids – and develop childhood literacy and a love of books – with book arts. Explore storybooks and readiness activities. Learn basic structures – whip stitch and stick bindings, a variety of M-fold books, flag and donut variations – and experiment with them. Discover materials and tools that are inexpensive, reusable and found at home. Get more ideas from artist, commercial and preschool books.
Ellen Ferrari is an early childhood art specialist who teaches our popular Kids Create! classes for Ages 2-6 w/Adult and Ages 7-10 on their own.
Classes have a limited space available and some fill quickly. Decisions about whether to cancel a class or add another session are typically made one week prior to the start of a class. If a class you are interested in is full we will have a waiting list and will contact you if a space opens up. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment (fewer than 4 registrations) all registrations will be promptly refunded.
