Relaxing Watercolor Circles taught by Molly Anthony

August 5 @ 10:00 am 1:00 pm

IN PERSON CLASS

$50.00

As creatives, it can be easy to get stuck in the mindset of creating art for others, but it’s important to remember the power of the artistic process for our own self-care. Using watercolors as our guide, we’ll release expectations and let our creativity be free to flow. We will begin by simply creating circles and exploring color, then will continue to build onto this practice with doodling and paper cutting. This class will focus on the process rather than the product and is meant for creatives of any level.

There will be some shared use supplies and watercolor paper. Feel free to bring your own supplies.

Molly Anthony is a writer and mixed-media artist and is also the co-facilitator for the MN Visual Journal Collective (a free monthly group for artists of all mediums hosted by Wet Paint). She loves exploring art in all forms and sharing her ideas with others, but through the pandemic and family struggles she learned the importance of using those practices for self-care. In her work and her teachings, she strives to embrace imperfection, focuses on process over product and is constantly looking for new ways to be curious about the world around her.
