Multi-Session Class
Meets 3 Wednesdays September 13-27 from 10am-1pmIN PERSON CLASS
Building Patience, Calm, Creativity and Flexibility Through The Magic of Watercolor!
From simple meditations to creative play, this class offers short watercolor explorations that can help you diffuse anger, find calm, outlast sadness, foster creativity, and cultivate joy…building both a positive mindset and painting skills*!
*Watercolor painting skills include brush control, water control, and pigment control. To the extent that watercolor CAN be controlled, it is done by close observation and a sensitive and flexible response to what is happening in the moment. This class is designed to build the mindset necessary to achieve that.
Week 1: Brush and Water -Guided meditations focused around specific ways to use a brush and subtle observations of water painted onto a paper surface.
Week 2: Paint -Guided meditations focused on watering down paint and wet-in-wet explorations.
Week 3: Color -Guided meditations focused on noticing and controlling the texture of the painted surface, and on lifting paint.
