IN PERSON CLASS
Wet Paint offers a series of simple, open ended art classes designed for children 2-6 years old with adult taught by early childhood art specialist, Ellen Ferrari. Each class will focus on one art making process. Ellen will use examples of artwork by iconic artists to make connections to professional artists who use these processes and introduce basic concepts, materials and terms. All materials provided (real artists’ paper, ink, paints and tools!) for several projects in each class.
This Class: Drawing Straight and curvy lines, soft and hard pressure, shading, color mixing and more. Develop drawing skills using school, color, metallic, black and stylus pencils on a wide variety of papers. Be inspired by the pencil drawings of John Marin, Pablo Picasso, Alana Buffalo Spirit, Katrin Spahl and others.
Must have one adult attending class with every child. Thanks!
Classes have a limited space available and some fill quickly. Decisions about whether to cancel a class or add another session are typically made one week prior to the start of a class. If a class you are interested in is full we will have a waiting list and will contact you if a space opens up. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment (fewer than 4 registrations) all registrations will be promptly refunded.
