IN PERSON For Absolute Beginners
This hands-on class is an introduction to color theory for artists working in any traditional medium, or anyone who is just curious about color. You will work through exercises that will help you accurately identify and describe color, which is the first, essential step towards mastering color mixing and harmonizing.
Note to students: We will be working with pieces of colored paper. If you work in an art medium like paint or chalk pastel, I encourage you to bring in swatches of your favorite colors! You are also welcome to bring your art supplies to make swatches during class.

Classes have a limited space available and some fill quickly. Decisions about whether to cancel a class or add another session are typically made one week prior to the start of a class. If a class you are interested in is full we will have a waiting list and will contact you if a space opens up. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment (fewer than 4 registrations) all registrations will be promptly refunded.
