IN PERSON CLASS
We are constantly surrounded by the noise and turbulence of the world around us, and it often leaves our minds buzzing and drowns out our creative voice. But using artistic techniques, such as collage, can help to restore moments of quiet and calm and teach us to turn destruction into creation. Using a variety of papers, including scraps from our everyday lives, we will learn how to harness the power of tearing things apart and reassembling them to create both beauty and calm while also finding messages of meaning in the process. We will also discuss ways to work this practice into our daily lives so that when we need a moment of calm, we can use what’s around us to create a space for it.

Classes have a limited space available and some fill quickly. Decisions about whether to cancel a class or add another session are typically made one week prior to the start of a class. If a class you are interested in is full we will have a waiting list and will contact you if a space opens up. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment (fewer than 4 registrations) all registrations will be promptly refunded.
Ticket Instruction: You must choose a quantity to activate “get tickets”. To pay for a class registration with a Wet Paint gift card, please call 651-698-6431

Molly Anthony is a writer and mixed-media artist and is also the co-facilitator for the MN Visual Journal Collective (a free monthly group for artists of all mediums hosted by Wet Paint). She loves exploring art in all forms and sharing her ideas with others, but through the pandemic and family struggles she learned the importance of using those practices for self-care. In her work and her teachings, she strives to embrace imperfection, focuses on process over product and is constantly looking for new ways to be curious about the world around her. You can find her artwork on Instagram at @mkranthony and on her website TheFoundArtWalk.com.
