With the dark season upon us, let’s bring the cheer by drawing and painting flowers and greenery from life! Surround yourself with beauty, good company, [a hot drink] and art supplies, as Jinjer teaches you pencil and gouache techniques for drawing and painting botanicals in this 2-session workshop.
Materials to bring:
* We will have a selection of potted flowers and greenery, but feel free to add to our collection!
* Several sheets of hot press watercolor paper, 8″ x 10″ or larger, in loose sheets, a pad or a block.
* A sketchbook or scratch paper for warm-up sketches (or use scratch paper from the classroom)
* Two sizes of round brush–small (size 2, 3 or 4) and large ( size 6, 8 or 10).
* If you have a hairdryer, let us know if you can bring it to share.
Classes have a limited space available and some fill quickly. Decisions about whether to cancel a class or add another session are typically made one week prior to the start of a class. If a class you are interested in is full we will have a waiting list and will contact you if a space opens up. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment (fewer than 4 registrations) all registrations will be promptly refunded.
