Watercolor Collage taught by Jana Komaritsa

VIRTUAL CLASS
Discover the art of watercolor collage, where color meets layered composition. In this class you’ll create vibrant, textured collages using your own painted watercolor pieces. We’ll explore watercolor techniques to create a variety of textures and patterns. Then we’ll arrange these pieces into unique collages, experimenting with composition, contrast, and layering. This is a beginner’s friendly class!
Material list for Watercolor painting
Plus: extra watercolor paper for collages, various paper/scrap/newspapers etc. for collages (if desired)
- Watercolor Paints (At least a basic set of colors)
- Standard set of brushes stuitable for watercolor (synthetic and/or natural) (pointed round (4-10), flat or bright or filbert (8-12 or larger), detail round (1-2)
- Watercolor Paper
- Smooth, sturdy surface to place paper on (if needed)
- Palette (plastic or paper)
- Water Cup
- Paper towel or cloth
- Masking Tape (to tape the paper to the surface if needed)
Classes have a limited space available and some fill quickly. Decisions about whether to cancel a class or add another session are typically made one week prior to the start of a class. If a class you are interested in is full we will have a waiting list and will contact you if a space opens up. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment (fewer than 4 registrations) all registrations will be promptly refunded.
