The History of Pigments and Colour: An Evening with The Stoneground Paint Co.

July 19 @ 6:00 pm 8:00 pm

Free FREE but RSVP is required. Space is limited

We’ve loved the Stoneground Paints since we started carrying their handmade gouache in half pans last year. Recently we have added a selection of their line of handmade watercolours in the Mint Gardener Collection. Have a look at these gorgeous colors!

To celebrate and tell you all about these popular paints, Russel and his daughter Rowan from Stoneground Paint will be at Wet Paint on Friday and Saturday, July 19+20!

FRIDAY From 6-8pm (RSVP required)– Join The Stoneground Paint Co. for an illuminating discussion about the history of colour and pigments.  From cave paintings to the Renaissance, sea snails to beetles, explore the vibrant history of colour in art.  This evening will be informative, entertaining, and a bit surprising.

Inspired by nature and created by hand, The Stoneground Paint Co. is passionate about connecting people to artistic traditions of the past, crafting their watercolours and gouache by hand in small batches the traditional way.

SATURDAY between 10am-5pm stop by the store to get some hands-on time with the full line of colours! (NO RSVP required)

Wet Paint manager, Greg Graham, talks about why he likes Stoneground Gouache in this video.
