IN PERSON CLASS
Join our adult art class where creativity meets core principles! Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting out, this class offers the freedom to create whatever inspires you—while exploring the seven elements of art: line, shape, form, space, texture, value, and color. Maren Daniels, local art teacher and author illustrator, will show how these foundational concepts can enhance your artistic expression and bring more depth to your work in a welcoming, supportive environment. Participants are encouraged to bring an object or symbolic image that inspires them.
The Elements of Art by Maren Daniels
Classes have a limited space available and some fill quickly. Decisions about whether to cancel a class or add another session are typically made one week prior to the start of a class. If a class you are interested in is full we will have a waiting list and will contact you if a space opens up. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment (fewer than 4 registrations) all registrations will be promptly refunded.

Bio
Maren Daniels, M.A. Ed., is the author-illustrator of The Elements of Art: An Elementary Art Teacher’s Guide to Color, Shape, Texture & More. As an artist, Maren enjoys painting with watercolor, exploring photography, printmaking, drawing, and book-making.
Maren, or Ms. Daniels, as her students know her, is a public school art teacher in South St. Paul, and has been teaching elementary visual arts for 8 years. She lives in Minneapolis with her family. Check out more at marendanielsart.com
