Rosemaling Os Style taught by Julie Anderson

VIRTUAL CLASS

The Rosemaling style of Os is from the western coast of Norway.  This style is known for its fanciful flowers and bright colors.  The focus of this class, will be on a project that includes Os scrolls and flowers.  It will also cover some design concepts such as how you can change a design, design elements, colors or embellishments. 

Beginning students who have taken a brush techniques class where they learned basic brush strokes will find it helpful.  Students can paint with acrylic or oil paint.

Topics: Os design scrolls and how to change design, color or embellishments. Specific design and surface will be optional.

Student choice of surface to work on. Julie will be painting on a skateboard deck. There will be many pattern and color options provided.

An email confirmation with materials list and Zoom link will be sent closer to the time of class.
