This class is dedicated to one of the key figures of German Expressionism – Franz Marc. His main works are mostly depicting animals in natural setting, and are emotional and expressive, using bright colors and a cubist portrayal of objects. The artist also founded a famous art circle Der Blaue Reiter (The Blue Rider). Our experienced artist and instructor Jana Komaritsa will tell you everything about the materials for painting, show the basic principles of mixing and applying paints and guide you through all the main stages of creating a painting in this technique. We will be painting the image used in class description, but you can choose another image. Please consult with Wet Paint one week before the class to approve the image.
No painting experience required.
