VIRTUAL CLASS
The Rosemaling style of Telemark, known for its central scroll(s) and fanciful flowers, is the most recognized Rosemaling style. The focus of this class, will be on learning how to construct Telemark flowers. While the options are only limited by your imagination, there are some basic principles that can help you paint flowers that are well balanced and imaginative. This is particularly helpful when you are painting a design and you want to change a particular flower or your spacing is different and the flower you were going to paint no longer properly fits the space.
LEVEL: Students who have taken the Rosemaling: Brush Techniques classes or other painting class where they learned basic brush strokes will find that helpful but all are welcome knowing the class will have an expectation that you know the basic strokes. The class will be focused on expanding technical and creative skills focusing on flowers and embellishments.
This class is a great preparation for the upcoming Telemark Box class. Students can paint with acrylic or oil paint.
