Rosemaling Brush Strokes taught by Julie Anderson

HYBRID class – meets via ZOOM and In-Person. Central Time. There will be a one hour break for lunch midway through class.
This is a revised brush stroke class. Learn the anatomy of a brush, brush care, types of brushes and the brush stokes they can make. We will dive into how to load a round, flat, filbert and liner brush for “stroke work”; execute various brush strokes such as comma, teardrop, S, crescent, dipped crescent, spiral, circle stroke as well a dots.
This class is for anyone wanting to learn more about what a brush can do and is encouraged for anyone who is interested in taking classes in the beautiful Norwegian decorative painting tradition called Rosemaling.
