IN PERSON CLASS
Wet Paint offers a series of simple, open ended art classes designed for children 2-6 years old with adult taught by early childhood art specialist, Ellen Ferrari. Each class will focus on one art making process. Ellen will use examples of artwork by iconic artists to make connections to professional artists who use these processes and introduce basic concepts, materials and terms. All materials provided (real artists’ paper, ink, paints and tools!) for several projects in each class.
This class: Painting How do YOU paint? On cans like Andy Warhol? Pulling it down the paper like Morris Louis? Splattered like Jackson Pollock? On puzzle-like papers like Elizabeth Murray? With huge lines like Brice Marden? On boxes like Lanny DeVuono? Meet artists who paint in surprising ways – then YOU paint in surprising ways, too!
