Dog Drawing with Pastels taught by Jana Komaritsa

Learn how to use pastels to draw your favorite pup in this beginner-friendly class. We will cover the basic principles of composition and pastel techniques, including material application and blending methods. You will learn how to create a vibrant drawing using pastels, guided by our experienced instructor. No prior experience is required.
Soft pastels supply list
- Set of soft pastels (with at least basic colors). Oil Pastels may also be used for this class
- Pastel paper (can be toned)
- Any pencil and eraser
- Blending stumps / tortillions
- Masking tape (to tape the paper to the surface if needed)
- Paper towels or cloth
- Smooth, sturdy surface to tape paper to (if needed)
Classes have a limited space available and some fill quickly. Decisions about whether to cancel a class or add another session are typically made one week prior to the start of a class. If a class you are interested in is full we will have a waiting list and will contact you if a space opens up. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment (fewer than 4 registrations) all registrations will be promptly refunded.
