Embroidered Adulting Badges taught by Molly Anthony
December 14, 2025 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
IN PERSON CLASS
Life is hard. We need to celebrate the little things and be proud of all our accomplishments. And sometimes that means putting them on a badge and wearing them proudly on our jackets, bags, etc. Learn how to make these Embroidered Adult Badges from materials such as repurposed jeans or leftover fabric scraps. You don’t need to be an embroidery expert; we’ll start with basic stitches and talk about way to embellish them with fancier stitches or other materials such as buttons and discarded costume jewelry.

Supplies to bring:
- A needle and selection of thread (embroidery floss or sashiko thread)
- Scissors
- Pin backs or safety pins
- Any fabric or adornments you’d like to use
Some shared supplies will be available for class use.
Classes have a limited space available and some fill quickly. Decisions about whether to cancel a class or add another session are typically made one week prior to the start of a class. If a class you are interested in is full we will have a waiting list and will contact you if a space opens up. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment (fewer than 4 registrations) all registrations will be promptly refunded.
Ticket Instruction: You must choose a quantity to activate “get tickets”. To pay for a class registration with a Wet Paint gift card, please call 651-698-6431

Molly Anthony is a writer and mixed-media artist and is also the co-facilitator for the MN Visual Journal Collective (a free monthly group for artists of all mediums hosted by Wet Paint). She loves exploring art in all forms and sharing her ideas with others, but through the pandemic and family struggles she learned the importance of using those practices for self-care. In her work and her teachings, she strives to embrace imperfection, focuses on process over product and is constantly looking for new ways to be curious about the world around her.
