Intuitive Arting taught by Paige Tighe
February 19, 2021 @ 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm CST
Fridays February 19, 26 and March 5, 4-5:30 pm (5-6:30pm on the 26th)
Intuition is key to making decisions in art. Using meditation, we can tune into our intuition and explore our inner landscape through color and texture. Delve into color fields, art theory and symbols, as you discover how to make art. We’ll work on producing a larger piece of artwork throughout class.
You can use pastels, color pencils, watercolor, regular pencils – whatever your favorite medium is!
You will need:
2 pieces of large (22”x 30”) white mixed media paper such as Stonehenge (comes in warm white, regular white and polar white) Pescia, or Strathmore 500 Series Mixed Media Vellum surface.
You can use pastels, color pencils, watercolor pencils or other water-soluble drawing media like Neocolor or ArtGraf, watercolor, regular pencils.
Pick out your favorite color in a favorite medium. I suggest watercolor and watercolor pencils as they can be layered.
