Zine Club Meet Up hosted by Addison

Enjoy a casual hour of zine making. Whether you’ve been photocopying your own since the 80’s or are just now hearing this word for the first time (pronounced ‘ZEEN’) all skill levels are welcome. Bring your own project or dabble with some basic zine making supplies that will be provided. Share ideas, resources, and techniques, collaborate, trade zines, make friends, and learn about local zine events.
Zines are DIY, self-published, small booklets that can take many shapes and sizes and contain art, stories, poetry, collage, facts, anthing! A zine is a container for your expression.
Next Zine Club will meet on Thursday, March 26th from 4:30-5:30pm
Addison is an illustrator and zinester based in Saint Paul, MN. They joined the zine community in 2015 when they attended their first Twin Cities Zine Festival while attending MCAD. It was the perfect overlap of their love for art and books. They’ve since participated in many zine festivals, helped organize and volunteered at festivals, and ran a zine club at Boneshaker Books. Their art is most inspired by their love of the outdoors and nostalgia for childhood in rural Nebraska. Contact them at addisonart@pm.me.
