Winter Impressionism Landscape: Claude Monet “Ice Floes”
This class is dedicated to the French artist, who is called the “father of impressionism”. Claude Monet started a new movement in painting and rethought the light and air space – in his works air, color and light play the main role. Our experienced artist and instructor Jana Komaritsa will tell you everything about the materials for painting, will show the basic principles of mixing and applying paints and guide you through all the main stages of creating a winter painting in style of Claude Monet. We will be painting “Ice Floes near Vetheuil”. If you would like to paint another painting, please consult with the instructor up to one week before the class. No experience required!
