IN PERSON Day long class.
Watercolor monoprint combines the best of painting, drawing, and collage. This process produces a wide variety of textures and is especially suited to working in a loose, improvisational series. The day will be spent with short demos and generous studio time for experimentation. Plate preparation, paint application techniques, and printing will be covered. Previous printmaking experience is helpful but not required.
Please bring reference materials or subject ideas to class. All materials will be provided.
Carolyn Swiszcz is a painter and printmaker whose work has been exhibited locally and nationally. Her prints have been published by Highpoint Editions in Minneapolis and she is a 2023 McKnight Printmaking Fellow.
