Transform drawings with drawing strokes PLUS brush strokes!
Add options to your drawing repertoire in this three-hour workshop. We will explore use of water-soluble drawing materials, using 3 basic tools: water-soluble graphite pencil, water-soluble chunk graphite, and a water-soluble carbon disk… plus a brush and water.
We will explore how achromatic (without color) drawings can be transformed with the addition of a few simple brush strokes, bringing a painterly aspect to a drawn piece.
There will be demonstrations, as well as time to practice and explore within a group environment.
Bring: open mind, a sense of adventure, supplies
Prerequisites: NONE. This workshop is very appropriate for first time creators as well as those with previous experience. Each will benefit from individual attention and guidance.

“My personal work is informed and inspired by forms found in nature. I consider and experience the foundations of the earth as symbolic of the ‘grounding’ of spirit. Representation is distilled to form, movement, essence. The process is a dance between concept and emotion.”
