Swedish Folk Painting: Kurbits Style taught by Julie Anderson

Let’s paint Kurbits! This style of Swedish folk painting originated in the Dalarna area of Sweden. The painting has many names such as Kurbits, Dala Painting and Dalamalning. In this class we will paint a Kurbits which is characterized by swell leaves and a variety of flowers. You will learn some variations as well as some history and how the flower form fits in an overall composition.
