Rosemaling: Os Style Medium Size Flowers taught by Julie Anderson

Multi-Session ClassMeets Saturday, March 12 and Sunday March 13 from 1-4pm
The Rosemaling style of Os is from the western coast of Norway. This style is known for its fanciful flowers and bright colors. The focus of this workshop, will be on medium size flowers in Os designs and how to change color and details. Class will include a design where students will select and adjust placement of flowers to complete the design in their own way. Class will include discussion of design concepts.
Beginning students who have taken the Rosemaling: Brush Techniques classes or other painting class where they learned basic brush strokes will find it helpful. Students can paint with acrylic or oil paint.
Topics: Os mid sized flowers and how to change them and use them in designs.
Materials list will be emailed to registrants closer to class date. It will include recommendations on color choices and surfaces, as well as brushes.
