Rosemaling Ornaments or Cards taught by Julie Anderson
October 30 @ 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
One hour break for lunch
Join in this late fall tradition of kicking off the holiday season by painting some ornaments or cards! They make great gifts and can fit into any schedule. In this workshop you can follow along to paint an ornament or card demonstrated by the instructor, painting as many as you would like. Beginning and continuing students are welcome. The brush techniques class are recommended but not required. Skilled painters can also design and paint with assistance from the instructor as needed. Painting will be done with acrylic paint. (students may choose to practice on paper first and paint their cards or wood ornaments later).
Students who are new and trying this out can use paint and brushes that are available in the Wet Paint Classroom, so there will be little additional cost.
Returning students should bring 2 brushes (a #1 or #2 Liner Brush and #4,#5 or #6 Round Brush) Princeton Select Brushes are suggested and a selection of brighter colors. A complete materials list including paint color choice options will be sent to registrants.
