June 8 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm CDT
Multi-Session Class
Meets Wednesdays, June 8,15 + 22 from 6pm-8pm CTRosemaling evolved in the various districts of Norway from 1750 – 1850 and we will be studying art inspired from that time period. Students will paint at least one flower each night. This will be a step by step class where students will learn to paint several flowers that can be used to create cards or ornaments. Students will learn brush loading techniques to get various effects. This course is designed for students who have not painted before, however all skill levels are welcome and more advanced students can take the flower to create their own designs on surface of their choice. Students will find it helpful if they have learned basic brush strokes or have taken a Rosemaling: Brush Techniques class. Students can paint with acrylic or oil paint.
MATERIALS list will be emailed to registrants. Class references and ZOOM details will be emailed closer to the date of class.
