Origami Hour Skill Share (Hearts Theme) hosted by Erik Riese with guest Susan Schuster
February 5 @ 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
This session: Enjoy a special Valentine’s Day Heart-Themed Origami Skill Share. Learn about Wish of a Lifetime from AARP’s Cupid Crew program. Make heart-shaped origami creations you can give to people in your lives you care about and share with people 65+ in our community who may not otherwise be recognized on Valentine’s Day. Erik has three heart projects, one simple, one intermediate, and one complex. Should make for some fun models.
IN PERSON Meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month (and 5th when there is one!)
Enjoy an hour with other folks folding paper; sharing tricks, tips, and stories.
Learn how to decipher the cryptic instructions in origami packages and books. Watch and practice folding base forms and more challenging models. Chat about folding history.
Folding is like knitting, writing, sewing, painting, potting, or drawing. Help build community around paper folding. We envision Origami Hour as a laid-back time to work with beautiful papers in the comfort of the Wet Paint classroom.

Thanks to Yasutomo for supporting our skill shares!
