IN PERSON
The MN Visual Journal Collective meets 12 times a year on the third Monday of the month, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wet Paint. Meetings are free and open to any adult who is interested in keeping visual journals. All skill levels are encouraged from beginner to life-long journal keepers.
A little bit about the group: We are an eclectic, curious, and welcoming adult group interested in sketching and observing our lives. Come and join in the fun!
This month’s Topic: Round Robin Project
This is one of our favorite meetings of the year! Here’s how it works: bring a book that you are willing to let other people work in. Open it to a clean spread and then we’ll begin to pass our books around the room. You will each work in every book that is passed around the room (we’ll set a timer, but we’ll only have a few minutes to work so we need to work fast). When you get your book back, the spread will be filled with artwork from everyone in the room!
