Fill your loved ones’ mailboxes with joy by sending them handmade postcards. Learn different techniques for creating the base from items such as cardboard boxes, watercolor paper or pre-cut blank postcards. We’ll also discuss the postal requirements and costs for mailing. Then spend time decorating your own postcards using watercolors, markers, collage and more! As you’re making postcards for family and friends, don’t forget to include Wet Paint for their annual Summer Postcard Project!

Molly Anthony is a writer and mixed-media artist and is also the co-facilitator for the MN Visual Journal Collective (a free monthly group for artists of all mediums hosted by Wet Paint). She loves exploring art in all forms and sharing her ideas with others, but through the pandemic and family struggles she learned the importance of using those practices for self-care. In her work and her teachings, she strives to embrace imperfection, focuses on process over product and is constantly looking for new ways to be curious about the world around her.
