Next Class in the series:
Color impacts our mind, our mood, and how we see the world around us – we’ll use a simple meditative process with soothing, centering and blissful color to quiet our busy minds, ground ourselves, and bring calm to our day. Bring a journal or sketchbook and colors you love – in a simple form that you can use easily over the course of the workshop.
Meditative Drawing III-Listen and Draw December 12th
We will work on mindfulness by drawing with a listening ear. Turning our attention and awareness to the ‘distractions’ around us, we will engage our environment with calm curiosity and relaxed observation. No drawing experience needed. Bring a journal or sketchbook and a pen or pencil that feels good in your hand.
Meditative Drawing IV – January 2nd
Gently turning our attention to our inside voice, we will practice inviting greater serenity in by giving our thoughts and feelings simple shape and form. This intentional practice will open a little more space for increased calm and greater balance in our mind and heart. No drawing experience needed. Bring a journal or sketchbook, and a few colors you love, in a medium you feel comfortable using in a freeform way.
