$50.00 Includes paper and some shared supplies

IN PERSON CLASS

Working small can feel daunting, but it can also be very freeing and allow for big bursts of creativity in small spaces. We’ll spend the first part of class making our own tiny books by making zines and using variations of the pamphlet stitch. In the second half, we’ll begin to fill the pages with playful color, expressive mark-making and miniature collages. We’ll also discuss how to maximize our creative output by utilizing materials we already have at home and fitting work sessions into limited blocks of time.

Please wear masks during in-person classes at Wet Paint. If you are having any COVID or cold-like symptoms even if you have been vaccinated, please do not come to the class. Thanks!

Molly Anthony is a writer and mixed-media artist and is also the co-facilitator for the MN Visual Journal Collective (a free monthly group for artists of all mediums hosted by Wet Paint). She loves exploring art in all forms and sharing her ideas with others, but through the pandemic and family struggles she learned the importance of using those practices for self-care. In her work and her teachings, she strives to embrace imperfection, focuses on process over product and is constantly looking for new ways to be curious about the world around her.
