Kids Create!: State Fair Seed Art for Ages 2-6 w/Adult taught by Ellen Ferrari

IN PERSON CLASS
Wet Paint offers a series of simple, open ended art classes designed for children 2-6 years old with adult taught by early childhood art specialist, Ellen Ferrari. Each class will focus on one art making process. Ellen will use examples of artwork by iconic artists to make connections to professional artists who use these processes and introduce basic concepts, materials and terms. All materials provided (real artists’ paper, ink, paints and tools!) for several projects in each class.
Must have one adult attending class with every child. Thanks!
This class: State Fair Seed Art
Try your hand at the techniques of seed art -a feature of the Minnesota State Fair Crops Division since 1965. Look at lots of examples, including work by artists such as multi blue ribbon winner Lillian Colton- “The Seed Queen”, and then create some seed artwork with colourful crops, seeds, grains and glue.
