Kids Create!: (Afternoon)Halloween Books for Ages 2-6 w/ Adult taught Ellen Ferrari

Wet Paint offers a series of simple, open ended art classes designed for children 2-6 years old with adult taught by early childhood art specialist, Ellen Ferrari. Each class will focus on one art making process. Ellen will use examples of artwork by iconic artists to make connections to professional artists who use these processes and introduce basic concepts, materials and terms. All materials provided (real artists’ paper, ink, paints and tools!) for several projects in each class.
This Class: Halloween Books
Scare up a set of Halloween books with ideas from artists at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts. Learn basic bookbinding techniques and create three books – a jack o’lantern whip stitch, a ghost M-fold and a mask stick binding you can wear. Fill your books with content using words, colors, papers and glue sticks.
Must have one adult attending class with every child. Thanks!
