IN PERSON CLASS
Wet Paint offers a series of simple, open ended art classes designed for children 2-6 years old with adult taught by early childhood art specialist, Ellen Ferrari. Each class will focus on one art making process. Ellen will use examples of artwork by iconic artists to make connections to professional artists who use these processes and introduce basic concepts, materials and terms. All materials provided (real artists’ paper, ink, paints and tools!) for several projects in each class.
This class: Crayons
Art by Pablo Picasso, Arthur G, Dove, Tom Maakestad and more highlight the world of crayons and craypas. Change crayon colors with pressure. Draw thin tip and thick side crayon lines. Use rubbing plates. Rub craypas to create fuzzy colors, mix colors and create color resist. And make paint with watercolor crayons!
Must have one adult attending class with every child. Thanks!
