Kids Create!: (AFTERNOON)Clay for Ages 2-6 w/Adult taught by Ellen Ferrari

IN PERSON CLASS
Wet Paint offers a series of simple, open ended art classes designed for children 2-6 years old with adult taught by early childhood art specialist, Ellen Ferrari. Each class will focus on one art making process. Ellen will use examples of artwork by iconic artists to make connections to professional artists who use these processes and introduce basic concepts, materials and terms. All materials provided (real artists’ paper, ink, paints and tools!) for several projects in each class.
This Class CLAY
See how slab pots are made by handling those made by clay artists Leila Denecke, Kate Daly, Freeman Ceramics and others. Use their art as a guide as you roll, trim and pinch a natural clay slab pot. Then flatten and incise a set of Model Magic clay tiles. And shape and string some oven bake Sculpey clay beads.
