This class requires some prior knowledge/experience with color theory, basic drawing skills, and an introduction to acrylic media.  Students will be instructed further with more advanced applications, using matte and gloss mediums, in addition to being introduced to gel mediums.  There will be more of a focus on color mixing, using a range of primary colors, with both cool and warm hues of each yellow, red and blue.  Discussions about color/space, compositional development, and their relationship to the expressive impact of a painting will be ongoing.

Supplies: Shared use Golden acrylic paints and mediums, some paper, and some shared use classroom supplies are included in your class fee. Registered students will receive a list of other supplies to bring.
