Introduction to Acrylic Painting:  Level 2

Do you already have some experience painting with acrylics? Here’s a chance to build on what you know with some new techniques.

This class requires some prior knowledge/experience with color theory, basic drawing skills, and an introduction to acrylic media.  Students will be instructed further on more advanced applications of acrylic painting with a focus on improving techniques, as well as developing a deeper understanding of composition, color, light, pictorial space, and expressive impact using still life as the vehicle for personal growth and discovery.  Impasto, glazing, wet into wet and other applications will be explored.
