
Imaginary Landscapes in Gouache taught by Jinjer Markley

Gouache can be used in thin, watery layers like watercolor or in opaque layers like acrylic, but has a personality all its own. Learn to handle this unique medium by practicing a variety of techniques, including wet-in-wet, layering, lifting and drybrushing. See why gouache is great and stretch your imagination in this fun class.



Supplies to bring:
8 x 10 or 9 x 12 watercolor paper, at least 2 sheets.
Size 8 Round brush. Bring other brush shapes and sizes if you have them.
At least three colors of traditional gouache, plus white. choose any colors or use Jinjer’s recommendation: Holbein’s Primary colors (Magenta, Yellow, Cyan)
Classes have a limited space available and some fill quickly. Decisions about whether to cancel a class or add another session are typically made one week prior to the start of a class. If a class you are interested in is full we will have a waiting list and will contact you if a space opens up. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment (fewer than 4 registrations) all registrations will be promptly refunded.
