Holiday Gift Card Sleeves with Japanese Washi taught by Dan Donovan

Dress up your holiday gift packages with a touch of elegance. Make sleeves for your gift cards with beautiful Japanese Chiyogami or Italian Florentine papers. These easy-to-make sleeves will add that special handmade touch to your gift giving.
We’ll begin with some basics on the characteristics of paper, demos by the instructor with tips on scoring, folding and gluing. You will be able to make a set of 8 sleeves for your packages.
Dan Donovan is a graphic designer from St. Paul who designs communications for non-profits and corporate clients. He has also designed handmade Christmas cards and business cards for over twenty-five years. Early in his career he produced artwork for printing with X-Acto knives and other traditional hand tools and continues to use these skills for craft projects. He uses his drawing table every day; it is next to his Mac workstation.
