Welcome to the last of the seasonal Holbein Irodori Gouache workshops. This Autumn set evokes the warmth and richness of the season. Get to know gouache and the colors in this palette as you create a one of a kind forest inspired mandala on toned paper.
Supplies:
Holbein Irodori Autumn Gouache Set, or individual tubes from the Autumn Colors: Antique Rich Gold, Indigo, Elm Green, Pine Tree Green, Leek Green, Smoked Bamboo, Bark Brown, Amber, Amur Cork Yellow, Gardenia Yellow, Orange, and Safflower Red.
Princeton Velvet touch Long Round, 6 or 8 or similar
Paper: Toned mixed media paper or watercolor paper in workable sizes. (Square is a traditional mandala format) and a few scrap pieces of the paper your choose to practice brush marks, shapes and color swatches. Options include: One sheet Stonehenge paper in Kraft, Steel Grey, or Pearl Grey cut or torn down into workable sizes. The sample pictures is about 8×10 on Kraft Toned Stonehenge. Strathmore toned mixed media pad in Tan or Grey, Clairefountaine PAintON Mixed Media pads, Hahnemuhle Toned WC pad, or watercolor paper of your choice.
The Dotting Center Mandala Stencil Divider(12×12) optional, but very helpful.
