Demystifying Color is part 1 of the Hands-On Color Theory Series
This hands-on class is an introduction to color theory for artists working in any traditional medium, or anyone who is just curious about color. You will work through exercises that will help you accurately identify and describe color: the first essential step to copying the colors you see in the world into your own artworks. You will also learn how to make colors “pop,” how to create compositions with harmonious color combinations, and how to create color illusions. We will begin the creation of a beautiful and useful color reference book that will become one of your favorite tools.
For Absolute Beginners of Any Age

Basic Color Theory and Interaction of Color (week one) and Color Harmony and Color Illusions (week two).
Materials: Your fee includes a small pack of cut Tant Origami paper Students provide: At least 12 Business-card pages like these, Glue, Paper scraps -details about the paper scraps will be supplied in your class email as well as handouts to print)
