Your visual journal is a space, typically a book, where you give yourself permission to be whoever you are, right here, right now. In your visual journal, you may explore and express yourself through color, words, texture, mark making, doodling, collage, and personal photographs.
In Getting Started with Visual Journaling Briana will guide you through the process of adding color to your pages, layering with stencils and collage, as well as some low stress drawing and journaling exercises. This class is intended to help you loosen up, overcome your fears around creative expression, and give you the gift of time to honor yourself in the here and now.

Briana Goetzen, MA of Orange Spiral Arts is an expressive arts coach, artist, writer, photographer, and teacher. With a background in Elementary Education and Human Development, Briana brings gentleness, a sense of calm, and a never-ending enthusiasm for the arts wherever she goes.
