Drawing with unfamiliar tools is a great way to loosen up and bring life into your sketches, and rediscover the joy of drawing! In this class, we will play around with some unusual drawing tools, make discoveries and practice lighthearted problem-solving.
Materials:
Shared-use ink and sticks and some drawing paper will be provided. Students will bring:
- Paper. I recommend large newsprint and/ or drawing paper at least 8” x 10”.
- a photograph or object that you find challenging
- Something you can dip into ink. Think outside the box.
- Feel free to bring your own sticks, too!
- A smock or clothing you don’t mind getting stained
Classes have a limited space available and some fill quickly. Decisions about whether to cancel a class or add another session are typically made one week prior to the start of a class. If a class you are interested in is full we will have a waiting list and will contact you if a space opens up. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment (fewer than 4 registrations) all registrations will be promptly refunded.
